Christina Aguilera admits: I was no angel in my marriage

Christina Aguilera comes clean about her relationship with Jordan Bratman

Christina Aguilera says she was desperate to escape from her 5-and-a-half year marriage to music executive Jordan Bratman.

The singer-turned-actress, whose own parents had a turbulent relationship, concedes she was not blameless before she and Jordan split.

'At one time or another we were both not angels,' Christina, 30, admits.
'It got to a point where our life at home was reminding me of my own
childhood.

'I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home.'

In a new shoot for W magazine, a naked Christina - who's mum to Max, 3, with Jordan, 34 - covers her modesty with skimpy chiffon and a bouquet of flowers.

'I knew there
would be a negative reaction in the press to my divorce, but I am not
going to live my life because of something someone might say,' she explains.

'That goes
against everything I sing on my records. I have to be myself.'
