Will Mellor says his best mate Rhodri Giggs is feeling the strain after the shock allegations that brother Ryan had an 8-year affair with his wife Natasha.

Estate agent Natasha - who married Rhodri in June 2010 - claimed at the weekend that she was sleeping with Manchester United midfielder Ryan on-and-off after meeting him in 2003.

'It's a horrible time, imagine having your world tipped upside down in one night, if you can imagine what that's like,' explained Will, 35, on ITV1's Daybreak this morning.

'[It's a] horrendous time for everyone who's innocent in this and I just hope it blows over sooner rather than later and he can start rebuilding his life.'

Big Brother 7 contestant Imogen Thomas also alleges she had an affair with Ryan, 37, and he was officially outed last month as the footballer who took out a super-injunction to stop her speaking out.

Imogen has also been struggling to cope with the media frenzy.

'I just wanna curl up and die today,' Imogen, 28, Tweeted on Sunday following Natasha's claims.

'In Wales. So tired, mentally exhausted....Night all x,' she wrote the next day.
