BABY JOY! Friends star David Schwimmer is a new dad

Actor David Schwimmer's wife Zoe Buckman has given birth

Zoe Buckman and David Schwimmer have been together since 2007

David Schwimmer has become a dad for the first time.

The Friends star's photographer wife Zoe Buckman, 25, gave birth to a daughter on 8 May and the couple have named their little girl Cleo.

David and Zoe have released a family photo showing the proud pair gaze affectionately at their new arrival.

'[They] couldn't be more thrilled,' David's spokesperson told People when British-born Zoe's pregnancy was announced.

David, 44, and Zoe met while he was directing Run Fatboy Run in London in 2007. 

They got engaged in March this year and got married in a private ceremony in June.
