BABY JOY! Alex Curran and Steven Gerrard expecting surprise baby No 3

Alex and Steven Gerrard are thrilled to be pregnant

Steven Gerrard and Alex Curran were married in 2007

Alex Gerrard has announced she's expecting her third baby with footballer husband Steven Gerrard.

But despite the couple's delight, the pregnancy came as a total surprise.

'It wasn't planned at all,' admits Alex. 'But me and Steven are over the moon.

'I suppose it's bought (us) closer...we've both really happy.

'He's very caring and is looking after me.'

Forever Unique designer Alex, 28, and Liverpool FC's Steven, 30, already have two daughters Lilly-Ella, 7, and Lexie, 5.

And Alex says their girls are looking forward to a new baby brother or sister.

'They're both really excited,' says the mum-to-be.

'They haven't stopped talking about it.'
