George Michael: I’m thinking of doing my Symphonica tour naked

George Michael announces plans for his first tour in 3 years

It's 3 years since George Michael's 25 Live Tour concerts

George Michael is returning to the stage for his first European dates since 2008.

He announced his Symphonica Tour on Twitter this week, promising it will be like no other. 

'This tour will be very different from 25 Live Tour,' he Tweeted.

'For a start, having lost 15 pounds since then, I'm thinking of doing it naked...Just to show off my youthful physique.'

George's new tour - which kicks off in Prague on 22 August - will feature songs spanning his near-30 year career, as well as carefully selected covers of records that have influenced him.

He'll be performing with a symphonic orchestra and will be introducing some surprise guests.

'It's such an amazing thing to watch the effect on my audience,' George, 47, said in a press conference in London today.

'I suppose God wanted me to do it. He gave me the voice to do it. And the stamina, I suppose, at this age.'
