Most brides-to-be try to lose a few pounds for their big day, but LeAnn Rimes took up a hardcore training regime to drop two dress sizes for hers.
Friends now fear the singer, who married actor Eddie Cibrian, 37, in Malibu last month, has taken her workout regime too far.
Our spies tell us 5ft 5in LeAnn was 'desperate' to be a UK size 6 for her big day.
She devised a routine with personal trainer Cameron McGarr combining 40 minutes of resistance and cardio followed by 20-minute boxing sessions.
She's believed to have been just under 8st when she got married - barely recognisable as the singer who topped the charts in 2000 with Can't Fight The Moonlight.
The 28-year-old has been under public scrutiny over her relationship with Eddie, which started when they were both married to other people:
LeAnn to actor Dean Sheremet and Eddie to model Brandi Glanville, mother of his two children.
She admits the gym became a refuge: 'It made me feel better and saved me,' she says.
She's been following a low-GI diet based on healthy foods that fill you up for longer.
'I never deprive myself, but I'm a health nut, so I monitor my diet,' she says.
'I cook everything in olive oil or grill it.'
LeAnn angrily denied that this meant she overdid her pre-wedding regime, Tweeting: 'I don't starve or work out too much. I'm so over this and moving on!'
