Jack Tweed plays dad to Chanelle's little boy

Chanelle Hayes and Jack Tweed have been seeing each other for a year - despite the arguments

Chanelle Hayes has revealed that boyfriend Jack Tweed is a father figure to her 10-month-old son Blakely.

The former Big Brother contestant says her little boy hasn't seen real dad Matt Bates - a Middlesborough footballer - since Christmas, so Essex club promoter Jack has stepped into his role.

'Jack's bringing Blakely up,' says Chanelle, 23.

'He comes to see us in Yorkshire for 2 weeks every month. He's brilliant with Blakely.

'I know I can go to the gym and he'll know how to change a nappy!'

Jack, 23, married former reality favourite Jade Goody a month before she died from cancer in March 2009. He started dating Big Brother 8's Chanelle in April 2010.

The pair had a huge public row on Twitter in November, but Chanelle insists they never really broke up.

'Me and Jack are really happy,' she insists.

'People don't see that - they only see us arguing because we both overreact and we're feisty people.'
