Kym Marsh and Jamie Lomas are devoted to daughter Polly

After a tough couple of years and a traumatic pregnancy, Kym Marsh and fiancé Jamie Lomas are enjoying every second at home with their new baby Polly.

So much so that friends say they couple have decided to delay their wedding plans until next year.

'Jamie and Kym agree that trying to organise a wedding is too stressful right now,' says our source.

'He wants to take things slowly and I think Kym's relieved about that.

'She's obsessed with Polly and doesn't want any distractions.'

After tragically losing their son Archie two years ago when he was born 18 weeks premature, Kym, 34, and Jamie, 31, were anxious for everything to go smoothly this time.

But Corrie star Kym suffered complications and had to have a cervical stitch.

She was told by doctors not to lift anything heavier than a teacup and spent the final weeks of the pregnancy in bed, before giving birth to 4lb 1oz Polly in March, five weeks early.

'She's our little miracle, that's for sure,' says Kym, who's vowed this will be her last child.

'I couldn't go through this again. My child-bearing days are over.'

Now happily settling in at home with Polly - a sibling for Kym's two kids David, 16, and Emily, 13, and Jamie's five-year-old son Billy - Kym's said to 'exhausted' and fiercely protective of the new addition, who she's nicknamed 'Polly Pocket'.
