BABY JOY! Alicia Silverstone gives birth to first son

Clueless actress and husband Christopher Jarecki welcome new baby

Actress Alicia Silverstone is now a mum

Alicia Silverstone and musician husband Christopher Jarecki have become proud parents to a little boy.

The actress announced the arrival of Bear Blu Jarecki, who was born at 7.50 am on Thursday 5 May, on her blog - The Kind Lfe With Alicia Silverstone.

Bear was born at a birthing centre near LA, and weighed in at 7lb 15oz.

'We are all three in love. I'm so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes
and happy vibes you've sent me during my pregnancy ... it has been
wonderful. Thank you all!' Alicia, 34, wrote online.

Alicia and Christopher, 40, tied the knot in June 2005 after dating for 8 years.

Despite taking her time saying 'I do', the Clueless actress admitted: 'I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old.'
