'Boring' Kerry Katona needs confidence boost from Brian McFadden after being dumped

Kerry fears she's become boring and dull

Kerry Katona has invited Brian McFadden on holiday for their daughter's 10th birthday

If Brian McFadden does agree to go on holiday with ex-wife Kerry Katona, it could be just the confidence boost the mum-of-4 needs.

Kerry has invited Brian, 31, to go away with her and their daughters Lilly-Sue, eight, and Molly in August.

She had been optimistic about her relationship with boyfriend Dan Foden, 28, but he shocked her by selling his 'I've dumped her' story to the press over the Easter weekend.

To add to the pain, Dan's ex-girlfriend Katie Wray claimed they slept together 'a few times' while he was dating Kerry.

A pal tells us: 'Kerry's gutted, but as always it's the kids who keep her going - and now having Brian back on the scene has made an immense difference.'

Kerry blames her new 'straight' life for Dan reportedly cheating on her.

'She says she's become dull - always dieting or working,' says our source.

'She thinks that's why he got bored and hooked up with his ex.

'Kerry's gutted but I think a part of her realises she was always too busy to be properly committed to the relationship.'
