Super slim Jennifer Hudson: Some people liked 'fat Jen' better

As Jennifer Hudson drops another two dress sizes, friends say its a diet too far

Jennifer Hudson lost over 5st in 19 months

While the rest of the female population starts panicking about the impending summer strip-off, Jennifer Hudson, 29, is five (and a half) steps ahead.

The stunning actress and singer's lost a massive 5½st since giving birth 19 months ago.

But one person who's not as impressed as she is is her fiancé David Otunga, 30.

‘He's adjusting to it,' Jen confesses of her husband-to-be.

‘He's not really into change that much.'

In fact, 5ft 9in Jennifer's body's changed so much thanks to her Weight Watchers diet that she's now half the woman she used to be - going from a US dress size 16 (UK size 20), to a 6 (UK size 10).

Despite embracing her hotter shape with a sexy new wardrobe, the mum of baby David Jr also admits that her man prefers it when she keeps it casual.

‘He fusses at me, like: "Why do you have to get all dressed up to go out? Why can't you just go out like you used to?''' she reveals.

‘But I'm like: "I'm a walking billboard now, honey!'''

It's not only Jen's relationship that's felt the impact of her weight loss and new-found body confidence - her career's also changed direction.

‘I didn't even realise that I was being discriminated against and missed out on things until I crossed over to the other side,' she says.

‘Now they treat you differently and the opportunities are different - even though some people do say: "I like the fat Jennifer better."'
