Renee Zellweger: I've been stabbed in the heart

She'd bought a dress and set a date - but Bradley Cooper's dumped her

Renee Zellweger is now single again

Looks like Renée Zellweger's back to giving Jennifer Aniston a run for her money in the ‘unlucky in love' stakes.

Last week, the actress was left ‘humiliated' after her fiancé Bradley Cooper, 36, called time on their two-year romance - despite her having forked out £10,000 on a wedding dress.

Yes, really.

According to a friend, Renée, 41, has had a Carolina Herrera bridal gown gathering dust in her wardrobe since June.

‘Her and Bradley were going to elope last July which is why she had the dress, but he kept pushing it back as his dad was ill,' says the insider.

Sadly, Bradley's father Charles, 71, died in January and Renée pulled out of the Golden Globes to support him.

‘Things were OK until she raised the subject of their wedding,' adds the pal.

‘They got into a huge row and Bradley started bringing up issues in the relationship, like her apparent obsession with exercise.

Then he told her he wanted space.

‘Renée couldn't believe it. She's been telling friends it's as if she's been "stabbed in the heart".'
