They've both shared a bed with Brad Pitt - our lawyers would like us to point out it wasn't at the same time - but the similarities between Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow don't stop there.

After Now revealed that Jennifer, 42, wants to launch a blog like Gwyneth's Goop site, sources say she's hoping to reinvent herself by emulating the Oscar winner's music career and Glee success.

Step one of Jennifer's plan is her singing role in upcoming movie The Goree Girls, in which she plays a convict who sets up a band in prison.

'Jen wants out of movies for a while,' reveals our mole, 'if not for good, and starting a music career is one way to go.'

Having seen Gwyneth's all-singing, all-dancing role in Glee, Jennifer's also desperate to land a cameo in the hit show.

‘She loves TV,' adds our insider.

But worried friends fear that Jennifer's obsession with 38-year-old Mrs Chris Martin is getting out of hand.

‘She's even had her hair cut more like Gwyneth's,' reveals a pal.

‘She thinks Gwyn has the perfect life - a great career balanced with family and kids.

'It's the life Jen always thought she'd have and seeing how Gwyn has done it all has inspired her to try to get it for herself.'
