Model and TV presenter's pregnancy ends in tragedy

Kelly Brook has lost her child

Kelly Brook has had a miscarriage and lost her baby.

The model and TV presenter, 31, was nearly 5 months pregnant and was expecting a daughter with boyfriend Thom Evans, 26.

'Kelly Brook & Thom Evans have sadly lost their baby. Please respect their privacy at this very painful time,' says a spokesman.

‘Kelly is understandably devastated, she's at home and she's being looked after by Thom and her mum Sandra,' a friend tells the Daily Mail.

‘There's nothing you can say to anyone at a time like this - she just needs to be allowed some time alone to grieve.'

Before hooking up with Thom, Kelly dated Jason Statham for seven years, Billy Zane for four and Danny Cipriani for nearly two.

Thom, a former team-mate of Danny's, was first snapped with Kelly at her 31st birthday party in November. She recently revealed that her pregnancy was not planned.

Kelly's sad news comes only 3 months after Amanda Holden and husband Chris Hughes lost the baby boy they were expecting in February.

The Britain's Got Talent judge was 7 months pregnant when her son was stillborn.

Lily Allen was in the 6th month of her pregnancy when her son arrived at the end of October last year. Doctors were unable to save him.
