Kate Middleton calms nerves with candy before her wedding to Prince William

Kate is feeling the pressure as the big day gets nearer

Kate Middleton will marry Prince William at Westminster Abbey

Kate Middleton's feeling apprehensive about her wedding to Prince William on 29 April and stress is giving her the munchies.

The princess-to-be has been popping sugary sweets.

'Kate loves Haribo Starmix, they're her favourites, and Tangfastics,' Kate's local shopkeeper Hash Shingadia reveals.

Hash and wife Chan, who run a store in Bucklebury, Berks, will be attending the ceremony at Westminister Abbey.

'She mentioned last Sunday that she is getting a little nervous about the wedding,' Hash tells the Daily Star.

'It's only natural. This, after all, is one of the biggest days of her life.'

Kate, 29, has endless daily meetings and huge to-do lists in preparation for her big day, and is desperate to not let anyone down.

'She's a very shy person, so the thought of walking down the aisle with the whole world watching is sending her into a blind panic,' a royal insider tells Now.

'She's been having panic attacks because she feels everyone's relying on the wedding to lift the nation's spirits.

'Any wedding is stressful, so times it by a million and have it broadcast live across the world and you get an idea of the pressure she's under.'
