Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum are new parents

Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum are mum and dad to a baby daughter.

The little girl was born on Wednesday.

'Musician Jamie Cullum and his wife, the author and presenter Sophie Dahl, have become parents,' a rep has confirmed in a statement.

'Their daughter Lyra was born on March the second. They are over the moon.'

Jamie, 31, and Sophie, 33, are a very private couple and are keeping their daughter's weight and place of birth to themselves.
