Ray Quinn and Emma Stephens have no plans to tie the knot just yet

Ray Quinn and his performer girlfriend Emma Stephens are to marry.

Ray and Emma met three years ago on the set of West End musical Grease and the 22-year-old toyboy proposed to Emma, 25, on Christmas Day.

'I'd bought her engagement ring - a diamond solitaire set in platinum - at Tiffany's a few weeks earlier and had been hiding it in my holdall,' Ray reveals.

'I wanted to trick Emma into thinking I'd bought her a camera for Christmas, so I wrapped up a huge boxed puzzle game and put it under the tree.

'I'd already planned where I would propose: the bench overlooking the sea, where her grandad used to sit when he was alive.

'So, on Christmas morning, I had to entice her away from her presents and drive her there.'

The Dancing On Ice winner and X Factor runner-up has no doubt he and Emma are meant for each other.

'I'm a massive believer in fate, and I feel deep down that fate brought us together,' he tells Hello!

'I will look after and love Emma forever.'
