Kylie Minogue is delighted to be fit and healthy after her cancer battle

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she'll probably never be a mum.

The 42-year-old Aussie popstar says her life-saving treatment for breast cancer has probably ruined her chances of having children.

'You have to accept the good and bad in life,' says Kylie.

'And I have to be honest and accept that after everything I've been through - the treatment for breast cancer - I may not actually be able to conceive.'

Kylie, who is dating Spanish model Andres Velencoso, dotes on her 7-month-old nephew Ethan, son of her younger sister Dannii, 39.

'I would absolutely love to have children but I just don't think it's going to happen and that's OK because I'm well and I can enjoy the children around me,' Kylie tells the Daily Mail.

'Having a serious illness like that really teaches you about yourself.

'One thing I realised is that you're still the same person at the end.

'You're stripped down to near zero but you come out the other end feeling more like yourself than ever.'
