Sting has revealed that he keeps his marriage to Trudie Styler exciting by dressing up in the bedroom.

The outspoken couple, who've been married for 18 years, have previously admitted to enjoying eight-hour sessions of tantric sex.

'I don't think pedestrian sex is very interesting,' says Sting, 59.

'I like the theatre of sex. I like to look good.

'I like her to dress up. I like to dress up.

'Romantic? We like tawdry.'

The Police frontman believes he's lucky to have actress Trudie, 57, in his life. 

'Relationships aren't easy, and I don't think they're particularly natural,' he tells US Harper's Bazaar.

'But we're lucky because we actually like each other.

'Trudie lights my world up when she comes into a room.

'I don't take her for granted.'
