Natalie Portman couldn't be happier - she's pregnant, engaged and has just won an Oscar for her role as Nina Sayers in Black Swan.
'I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have had this experience,' she says.
'I have no idea what motherhood is going to be like, so I'll feel it out.'
Natalie, who plays ballerina Nina Sayers in the award-winning movie, met French choreographer lover Benjamin Millepied, 32, when he was hired to help her train for the part.
'It was a lot of work. I started training a year before we started to shoot the film, doing three hours of training a day plus an hour of swimming and an hour of toning,' Natalie recalls.
'Two months before the film I began to work on the choreography, which took up an extra three hours.
'When the film began we were shooting 16 hours a day, so then I'd fall into bed for five hours of sleep and then start the day again.
'Plus, I was on a very strict diet to keep myself thin enough to look like a dancer.'
Now, of course, Natalie is eating for two and doesn't have to avoid carbs.
'I like my food,' she tells Hello! 'Give me bread, pasta, ice cream!'
