Clare Nasir looks amazing - now 3st lighter than last year and totally toned, Clare can't wipe the smile off her face as Now meets her in London.

The former GMTV weather girl, married to BBC 6 Music DJ Chris Hawkins with a one-year-old daughter Sienna, is very proud of her efforts.

'I'm 7½st, so that's a size 6, right in the green zone for my BMI to be healthy,' she reveals.

'I was obese when I began my programme. I didn't say the F-word until I lost weight and only now can I admit: "Yes, I was fat."

'At my worst I was a size 16 and when I began focusing on my training, I weighed 10st 4lb.

'I've probably lost 2½lb a week on average.'

Clare didn't binge eat but she did indulge in curries and Jaffa cakes.

'I had bacon sarnies for breakfast,' she recalls, 'and, as I'm half-Indian, I love spicy food like chicken jalfrezi.

'I used to hide my body.  

'Now I've even bought hotpants to wear with tights and boots - and I'm 40!'
