David Walliams: I see Matt Lucas more than I see my mum!

The TV funnyman has stayed close to his Little Britain co-star

Britain co-star Matt Lucas is still going strong.

'I see Matt more than I see anyone else - even my mum!' David admits.

'We're together for 12 hours every day. It's vital we get on and we really do. Matt and I spark off each other very well.'

The TV funnymen's new series, Come Fly With Me - a mockumentary set at an airport - starts on Christmas Day.

'We've worked together for 16 years, and it's been a success because we get on so well,' David tells On The Box.

'In any creative process, you can't agree all the time, you have to push each other in different directions sometimes.

'When you see characters like Bubbles from Little Britain on screen, it makes all the hard work worth it.'
