Madonna flies first class

Madonna was allowed off a snow-stranded plane 2 hours before other passengers at the weekend, it has been claimed.

The Material Girl was on board a Virgin Atlantic flight from New York that was diverted to Stansted Airport - and because she was in upper class, she was given VIP treatment.

Madonna, 50, and her entourage were reportedly whisked away to the airport terminal via bus from the runway - a whole 2 hours before other passengers were let off.

‘It is common across airlines that business and first-class passengers
disembark first and this is reflected in the higher cost of the ticket,'
a spokesman for Virgin tells the Daily Mail.

And Madonna's not the only celeb to get VIP treatment.

Victoria and David Beckham reportedly pay £1,500 each to receive privileges at Heathrow Airport normally enjoyed by the royal family.

As part of the package, the couple get a waiting limo when they disembark their plane and skip the customs queue to go straight to a VIP suite to where their luggage is delivered to them.

'We offered this facility to the Beckhams because whenever they come to Heathrow unlicensed photographers cause other passengers problems,' a spokesperson for BAA, which owns Heathrow, tells the Sunday People.

Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen were also lucky enough to get the same treatment upon their return from Dubai in October.
