Actor Morgan Freeman still alive and kicking

Morgan Freeman is still going strong at 73

Morgan Freeman was the victim of a sick Twitter hoax yesterday.

A Tweet - which was falsely attributed to CNN - alleged the actor, 73, was dead.

'Breaking News: actor Morgan Freeman has passed away in his Burbank home,' it read.

But CNN were quick to set the record straight on their official page. 

'CNN did not report Morgan Freeman death,' they write. 'Rumour is false. CNN will aggressively investigate this hoax.'
