They've been at each other's throats for years but until now Katie Price has been able to bask in the knowledge that Kerry Katona's career was at rock bottom.
Now, with Kerry having signed with PR company Can Associates, which famously reignited Jordan's own career, she fears her old rival is determined to eclipse her with a number of lucrative new deals.
‘Jordan knows how shrewd Can is and she knows it'll already have secured Kerry well-paid deals - better than she herself is pulling in at the moment, which is a bitter pill for her to swallow,' a friend of the former glamour girl tells Now.
‘She can't get her head around the fact that Kerry's still liked despite her chequered past, whereas she can't seem to change public opinion of herself.'
Unfortunately for the 32-year-old star, she probably has good reason to be quaking in her riding boots.
Kerry, 30, who's managed to bounce back following a number of scandals, pulled in a million viewers for the first episode of her new ITV2 reality show Coming Clean.
She's also in the midst of a publicity campaign, doing a number of interviews that are making the public warm to her once again as she trains for Dancing On Ice.
