Singer Usher wacked in the head during New York gig

Usher wasn't expected to get a boot in his face

Usher was booted in the face by a fan at his gig on Monday night.

The accident happened after the singer brought a female supporter on stage to serenade her during his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Usher, 31, started singing Trading Places while lying down with her on a lounger - but as she swung her body around to face him she clocked him with her heel.

Fortunately, he wasn't injured. 

'We play rough in bed,' Usher joked. 'Kicking each other in the head and stuff.'
