Katie Waissel admits that she and X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole never became close.
It was with Louis Walsh that she really bonded as she dealt with distressing media reports about herself and her family.
'Cheryl and I didn't have long chats - she would just advise me not to read the papers and say she'd had a hard time too,' says Katie.
'I don't have her mobile number, so I don't know if we will keep in touch.'
Katie, 24, who was booted out in week eight, reckons Louis Walsh is the nicest judge.
'Louis was my absolute favourite,' she tells Grazia.
'He gave me his mobile number and I'll definitely keep in touch.
'He understood how awful it was for me to be painted in a way I could do nothing about.'
