Kate Winslet 'splits' from boyfriend Louis Dowler

Kate Winslet has reportedly broken up with boyfriend Louis Dowler.

The couple are said to have ended things because their romance simply fizzled out. 

'They have realised their relationship isn't working and Kate needs space to be on her own,' a source tells the Daily Mail.

Kate and Louis, both 35, had been dating since July after being introduced by pals at a party in New York. 

'Unfortunately, I don't talk about my private life,' he tells the Daily Mirror. 

Kate and director husband Sam Mendes, 45, announced their separation in March after 7 years of marriage.

The actress is mum to Joe, 6, with Sam, and Mia, 9, with first husband Jim Threapleton.
