Eva Longoria files for divorce from husband Tony Parker
The couple, who married 3 years ago in France, have decided they have no future together.
'It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce,' Eva Tweeted yesterday after she filed papers in Los Angles Superior Court.
'We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness.'
The Desperate Housewives star - who signed a prenuptial agreement with the basketball star when they wed - cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split.
Before the break-up, Eva, 35, reckoned she only had time for sex with Tony, 28, on Saturday and Sunday.
'I work three to four days a week and then fly to Texas to spend a long weekend with Tony,' she explained.
'This means we can only have sex on the weekends.'
In December 2007, 6 months after their wedding, allegations of Tony's infidelity hit the internet, but Eva stood by her man.
'Tony has been
nothing short of the perfect husband,' the actress insisted.
Athlete Tony launched legal action against a website that claimed he had a 2-month affair with French model Alexandra Paressant.
Eva's first husband was General Hospital star Tyler Christopher, but that marriage too lasted only three years (2002 to 2004).
