Alex Curran and husband Steven Gerrard love snuggling up on the sofa together to enjoy their favourite TV shows once daughters Lilly-Ella, 7, and Lexie, 4, have been tucked up in bed.

'We like watching The Inbetweeners and The X Factor,' the WAG reveals.

'Naturally I'm rooting for my fellow Scouser Rebecca Ferguson and I think Matt Cardle is really good.'

Alex, 28, loves reality TV but would never want to be the star of her own show.

'I'm petrified of cameras,' she says, 'and Steven wouldn't be up for cameras following us around the house.'
