Susan Boyle is happier living on a budget

Susan Boyle prefers to live on a strict budget and has no desire to ever own a credit card.

The singing sensation, worth £10 million plus, lives on £300 a week.

'I'm quite happy with that amount,' says SuBo, 49. 'I chose it for myself. It's a good way of doing things. It keeps everything in order. I get what I need when I want it.'

Susan still rides the
bus, does her own cooking and buys her clothes from Tesco. Her one luxury since becoming a worldwide star on Britain's Got Talent is a housekeeper.

'I don't want a credit card, oh no!' Susan tells the News Of The World.

'I'd be like a baby in a sweet shop. Come off it.

‘I'm happy the way I am.I've never been a big spender anyway.

'It's nice, all the luxury. But it's nicer to stay grounded. I
need my roots.'
