Chris Moyles has rubbished rumours he'll quit Radio 1.
Earlier this month, Chris Evans, 44, said it wouldn't be appropriate for the DJ to stay on after he launched into a rant live on air about not having been paid for weeks.
But Chris Moyles, 36, has now hit back at his rival, suggesting he wanted publicity for his new autobiography.
'To confirm: 1. I'm not leaving,' he writes on Twitter. '2. I love working for R1. 3. They love me working there. 4. Some people need headlines cos they got a book out!'
Chris Moyles - who has been hosting the Radio 1 breakfast show since 2004 - has been linked to a move to London station Capital FM when it goes nationwide in January.
Chris Evans has since apologised for his comments.
'I do regret saying what I did,' he tells the Daily Star.
'We work for the same team. We are not rivals.'
