Prince William and Kate Middleton are to marry next year, a tabloid has claimed.
The couple are said to be considering 3 possible dates in July and August 2011 for a wedding - and the Queen will then declare the big day a national holiday.
'Although he would have loved to remain single until his mid-thirties,
the fact is William knows that Kate is the right girl for him,' says a source.
It's thought William and Kate's aides have already asked about the availability of Westminster Abbey for the nuptials and the Royal Mint is reportedly working on a special coin to mark the occasion.
'A royal wedding takes months of planning,' adds the source.
'The first steps have been
taken and it's all systems go, although they won't want to admit it just
yet.'
Clarence House have refused to deny the claims.
'Only Prince William and Kate Middleton know what their plans are and
anything else is just speculation,' a spokesman tells the Daily Mirror.
Prince William and Kate, both 28, have been dating since meeting at University Of St Andrews in 2001.
