David Arquette: I had sex with barmaid after Courteney Cox split

Actor David Arquette says encounter with Jasmine Waltz made him feel 'pretty manly'

David Arquette and Courteney Cox have been married for 11 years

David Arquette has revealed that he had a rebound fling with a barmaid after splitting from wife Courteney Cox.

The couple - who are parents to Coco, 6 - are on a trial separation to save their marriage.

But yesterday David, 39, admitted he's bedded Jasmine Waltz, 28, while they've been on a break. 

'I did have sex with Jasmine one time, maybe twice,' he said. 'My sexual encounter made me feel pretty manly.'

David also claims he hadn't had sex with Courteney, 46, for 4 months before their split.

'Sex with Courteney is scheduled to a certain degree,' he told US radio host Howard Stern.

'We're not having sex and I completely understand. She's in a place of wanting to be real. It doesn't feel right, she doesn't feel like bonding in
that way.'

Friends star Courteney and David met in 1996 while filming Scream and they got married in June 1999 in San Francisco.
