John James Parton and Josie Gibson are now thousands of miles apart

John James Parton and Big Brother 11 winner Josie Gibson are now on opposite sides of the world.

The Aussie hunk has jetted back Down Under to see his mum.

The couple, both 25, starred in their own Channel 5 reality show on Monday and Josie had to sit and watch it without her man.

Josie and John James are expected to confirm their engagement as soon as he returns to the UK. They were snapped at a jeweller's last week choosing a diamond ring.

'Josie didn't trust John to get a ring so they went shopping for it together,' an insider tells The Daily Star Sunday. 

'There may not be a Big Brother next summer but there could be a massive Big Brother wedding going on instead.'
