Take That star Robbie Williams makes confession on Radio 1

Robbie Williams is married to US actress Ayda Field

Robbie Williams has revealed that he once caught herpes from a fan. 

The Take That singer made the admission on Radio 1 yesterday when asked about the most unusual gift he'd ever been given. 

'Herpes,' he told shocked host Fearne Cotton. 

Robbie did not give any further details. 

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old is to star in a new documentary with his Take That bandmates about their reunion, reports The Sun.

The film will be released in cinemas this Christmas and will give a behind-the-scenes look at their comeback as a five-piece.
