Natalie Imbruglia to duet with Boyzone for Stephen Gately tribute

Natalie Imbruglia is a judge on the Australian X Factor with Ronan Keating

Natalie Imbruglia is to join Boyzone for a special performance to mark the first anniversary of Stephen Gately's death.

They will make the tribute this weekend on the Australian version of The X Factor, where the former Neighbours star and Ronan Keating are both judges. 

Natalie, 35, will step in for Keith Duffy as he is unable to join Boyzone Down Under because of his Coronation Street filming commitments.   

'I always fancied her from Neighbours so it's nice to know she has taken my place,' he tells the News Of The World. 

'It is going to be hard not going and I will miss the rest of the boys.'

Stephen, 33, passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition on 10 October 2009 at his holiday home in Majorca. 

Keith, 35, will help his pal's family scatter his ashes in Ireland to mark the anniversary.
