Heidi Montag has decided not to end her marriage to Spencer Pratt.
The Hills star filed papers at a California court on Wednesday to halt proceedings.
'After spending time together over these past several months Heidi and
Spencer have decided to reconcile,' her lawyer Jodeane Farrell confirms.
Heidi, 23, and Spencer, 27, decided to reunite after meeting in Costa Rica recently.
'We are back together trying to make things work,' the couple tell People.
'Costa
Rica really put things in perspective. We do love each other and
realised we do want to spend the rest of our lives together.'
Heidi announced the split in June and filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences.
She had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day in November.
