Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek has become a dad for the first time.
The actor's wife Kimberly Brook gave birth to baby Olivia on Saturday.
'Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend,' James
writes on his Twitter.
'Olivia Van Der Beek, born 25/9. I
apologise in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad Tweets that
may follow. I'm under her spell.'
Olivia weighed a healthy 7lbs 2oz.
James, 33, and Kimberly, who started dating in July 2009, got married in August.
He split from his first wife Heather Ann McComb after nearly six years in April 2009.
