Alexandra Burke signs up with modelling agency

Alexandra Burke won The X Factor in 2008

Alexandra Burke is turning her hand to modelling.

The X Factor 2008 winner has just been added to the books of IMG Models, the same agency that Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are signed to. 

'To be an actual fashion model is every girl's dream and I'm really thrilled about it,' says Alex, 22.

'It will be the first time I've done any modelling but it's going to be so exciting and I'm going to do my best to do a good job.'

Alexandra hopes to promote curves on the catwalk. 

'I haven't got a natural body shape for a model but there's no way I'm going to be going too skinny or
anything like that,' she tells the Daily Star Sunday.

'I want to be a good role model for young girls so I will just eat healthily and exercise like I always have.'
