Susan Boyle is to record her own version of classic song Perfect Day - just weeks after she was banned from performing it on America's Got Talent.
Writer Lou Reed was initially thought to have denied the Britain's Got Talent star permission to cover the track on the show.
But it was later revealed that he was not opposed to the performance - instead it emerged Susan's management had not secured a specific licence that is needed for US TV.
Now a different licence has been obtained so the 49-year-old can record Perfect Day for an album.
It will feature on her second LP entitled The Gift.
Meanwhile, Susan has broken 3 Guinness World Records after her first album I Dreamed A Dream sold 411,820 copies in just 7 days last year.
She has the fastest-selling album by a UK female, the most successful first week debut UK album and is the oldest artist to reach No 1 with a British or US debut.
'This is a real honour,' Susan tells the Sunday People. 'I never dreamt one day I'd appear in the Guinness Book Of Records.'
