Openly homosexual comedian Stephen Fry has revealed that there's a small part of him that is still drawn to the opposite sex.
The 53-year-old admits that he's been attracted to 2 women in his life - novelist Caroline Oulton and actor Rowan Atkinson's wife Sunetra Sastry.
'I am only 90 per cent gay, which is of course pretty damned gay, but every now and again on my path through life I have met a woman in the 10 per cent bracket,' says Stephen.
'Caroline Oulton was one, although I never told her so, and Sunetra was another.'
Stephen says he fell for Caroline, 52, when they were undergraduates at the University Of Cambridge in 1980.
He met Sunetra in 1985 when she was his make-up artist on BBC comedy Blackadder II - but missed his chance to woo her when Rowan, 55, wined and dined her first.
'I was quite seriously considering asking her out on a date,' Stephen writes in his new autobiography.
'But Rowan timidly approached me one morning during rehearsals and asked if I would mind swapping make-up artists with him.
'"Don't you like the one you've got?" I said. "No, it's not that, she's splendid." He gave me a look of uncharacteristic intensity. "Oh!" I said, as the penny dropped. "My dear fellow. Of course. Yes."'
