Singer weds banker she met on railways station

Connie Fisher and Jeremy Reed sahre a home in the Vale of Glamorgan

Sound Of Music star Connie Fisher has married fiancé Jeremy Reed.

The couple became man and wife on Saturday near their home in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Banker Jeremy, 42, proposed with a solitaire diamond ring last summer on the opening night of Connie's musical in Cardiff.

'That must be the first time a nun has ever got engaged!’ she quipped.

‘I am deliriously happy - I knew Jeremy was Mr Right from the moment I met him.' 

Connie, 27, and Jeremy met on Cardiff Central train station in Wales in July 2008.

At the time, he didn’t know she was the winner of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?
