Chantelle Houghton's mum Vivian hopes her daughter will reunite with Preston

Ultimate Big Brother contestant Chantelle Houghton has been crying herself to sleep over ex-husband Preston - and her mum Vivien isn't the least surprised.

She knows that her daughter has deep feelings for the man she lost after just 10 months as his wife. And she believes Preston has regrets about the break-up, too.

‘I think Chantelle's always loved him and always will,' says Vivian, 49. ‘It's obvious she has always kept Preston in her heart.

'I was quite taken aback by how desperately she wants to get back with him - although I don't think he feelings are one-sided.'

Since they both went back into the Big Brother house, Preston has been very attentitive to Chantelle, 27, which has just made the Essex-girl more emotional.

'I think they probably will [get back together],' says Vivian. ‘Preston was a pleasure to have as a son-in-law and I miss him being part of the family.

'So if he was to rejoin, I'd be very happy!'
