Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton accepts surprise proposal on birthday

Fearne Cotton dated Steve Jones but is now loved-up with Jesse Jenkins

Fearne Cotton is now wearing a sparkler on her third finger left hand after accepting a marriage proposal from boyfriend Jesse Jenkins. 

The pair were reunited again six months ago after an on-off romance that started in 2006.

US skateboarder Jesse asked the Radio 1 DJ to be his wife on Friday as she celebrated her 29th birthday.

'She is so excited about being engaged that she hasn't even thought about the wedding,' says a pal.

'It was a big shock for everyone but Fearne is ecstatic. It was the last thing she was expecting but she didn't hesitate saying yes.'
