Katie Price says sorry to Alex Reid

Jordan tells her husband she'll make an effort to make their marriage work

Alex Reid and Katie Price had their marriage blessed in July

Ever since they wed in February at a Las Vegas chapel, Alex Reid and Katie Price's whirlwind romance has been marred by a series of bitter rows and backbiting.

But canny Katie knows that since Alex won over the public with his stint on Celebrity Big Brother, she runs a real risk of being hated if they were to split over her shoddy treatment of him.

Before fleeing to Portugal last week Katie, 32, started to back-pedal on her harsh comments, begging Alex, 35, not to leave her and promising that she'd make more of an effort to work out their differences.

However, her wedding finger was noticeably ringless on her way to the airport, although she later claimed that was because she'd rushed out of the house.

‘That says it all really,' says a friend.

‘Here she is, trying to convince Alex that all will be well, yet she absent-mindedly leaves her wedding ring at home. She's not serious. But she's said sorry and managed to get him back onside.

‘The last thing Alex wants is to end up divorced, but there's only so much he can take.'
