Danielle Lloyd: I don't leave my house without bodyguards now

Danielle Lloyd was terrified she was going to die in May 2009

The trauma of being 'glassed' at a London nightclub in May last year has left Danielle Lloyd too afraid to leave home without bodyguards.

The WAG, who lives with footballer fiancé Jamie O'Hara, had to have 20 stitches in a wound on her back and also
underwent emergency surgery on her leg after the alleged assault.

'Obviously I still think about it because I've still got the scars,' Danielle, 26, reveals. 'When I go out now, I don't go out without security. Jamie sends two big bodyguards out with me.'

The new mum - who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 - is bitter the girls who were arrested after the incident were not convicted.

'They got away with it, basically,' she says. 'I don't know whether they were charged but it all got dropped because of a lack of evidence.' 

Danielle, 26, who was also punched in the face at an Essex club in May 2009, only feels safe now with a pair of burly men by her side.

'It is bad that we have to pay someone to look after us, but I don't
have to think: "Is that person going to come over and do this or that?",' she explains.

'No one bothers me, as they don't want to mess with the guys!'
