X Factor 2009 finalist Olly Murs likes the look of Ashley Cole's ex and Peter Crouch's fiancée

Olly Murs reached the finals of X Factor in 2009

X Factor finalist Olly Murs set pulses racing in 2009 with his jazzy performances, sharp suits and cheeky grin.

A romance looked likely with fellow contestant Stacey Solomon, but they've stayed just friends. Now he's ready to bag a VIP.

'All my mates keep saying, "You've got to sleep with a celebrity",' he says. 'You've gotta sleep with one celebrity, haven't you?'

Olly, 26, has his eye on quite a few beauties - but not for the long haul.

'All the new girls in Hollyoaks, they're pretty damn hot,' he says.

But the Essex lad is also keen on Katy Perry, Pixie Lott, Cheryl Cole - and Abbey Clancy. 

'I'm a lad, and I do go out and drink and pull girls, which is part of what blokes do. Every guy my age does that,' he tells the Sun.

'I read about Crouchy, Ashley and Cheryl and all that. I just think to myself, "Just get a normal girl and be happy".

'It's almost like as soon as you get a celebrity girlfriend, you're right in the public eye, you don't dare put a foot wrong.'

Olly's debut single Please Don't Let Me Go is out 29 August.
