Tess Daly and Vernon Kay back on track

The couple couldn't get enough of each other at the London Triathlon

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay are looking loved up again

Forget Dancing, it was more a case of Strictly Come Snogging when Tess Daly and husband Vernon Kay publicly locked lips last week.

Looking like love's young dream, the pair puckered up and fell into each other's arms shortly after Vernon crossed the finish line at the ExCel Centre where he was competing in the London Triathlon.

Tess appeared every inch the proud wife as she supported Vern, who swam, cycled and ran as part of the event to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

She took their eldest daughter Phoebe, 5, along and seemed intent on proving the couple's much-publicised troubles were behind them.

Tanned and toned, the 39-year-old Strictly Come Dancing host looked in stark contrast to how she did a few months ago when she was pictured looking painfully thin after Vernon, 36, confessed to sending lewd text messages to at least five women, including a 23-year-old glamour model.

Preparing for the Triathlon, Vernon revealed on his blog that he was chased by 20 cows in a field near his Buckinghamshire home, forcing him to ‘dive over a barb wire fence, grazing the whole of my left side and tearing my favourite golf jumper'.

Chin up, Vern, we're sure it beats being back in the doghouse...
