Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane ask for privacy during difficult time

Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane have been together for 9 years

Patricia Arquette has split from husband Thomas Jane.

The couple - who are parents to Harlow, 7 - are getting a divorce.

'The split is completely amicable and their prime focus is their daughter,' Thomas' rep tells People.

'They ask that their privacy be respected at this time.'

Patricia filed for divorce in January 2009, but she later reconciled with Thomas.

They got together in 2001 and tied the knot in Italy in May 2006.

Patricia, 42, divorced Nicolas Cage, 44, in 1995.

Thomas, 41, was previously married to actress Aysha Hauer.
